Projected Image Partner with Tyne and Wear Archives and Museums
Tyne & Wear Archives & Museums (TWAM) have partnered with us at Projected Image, to provide gobo lighting for their brand new exhibitions - starting from next week. The year-long partnership will see various gobo lighting designs take centre stage, displaying spectacular patterns for the events and exhibitions that are taking over the North East.
TWAM is a regional group of national museums and the county archives, located around the Tyne and Wear area. They provide brilliant locations to host all manner of corporate events, even weddings, as well as innovative exhibitions that put the North East on the artistic map.
Part of our continued efforts at Projected Image has always been to support the local arts industry, and we couldn’t be more ready to get stuck in - especially to shine a light on the North East and its cultural programme.
The first event is October 7 2017, with the reopening of the Hatton Gallery after a £3.8 million redevelopment. The groundbreaking Pioneers of Pop exhibition firmly, and correctly, places Newcastle as the birthplace of Pop Art. The gallery will include around 100 works from some of the greatest British artists, associated with both pop and abstract art. We hope to see you all there, along with our gobo lights, to celebrate the artistic side of our beloved North East.
