What Resolution are Projected Image gobos imaged at?

We use the highest resolution imagesetting technology available, which can achieve a true 5080 by 5080 dpi. We generally use a line screening of between 425 and 600 lines per inch. Even with this, it needs to be realised there are limits to gobo technology. Highly detailed and complex full colour images will not work well on the smaller gobo sizes (22.5 – 28mm). Larger size gobos allow more pixels to be used and give much better results. We will be happy to advise you what is and is not going to work well.
